The Claiming of Titles

Every now and then, I’ll have conversations with my peers and the discussion of jobs and internships will arise.  It’s to be expected; we like to know what each person is up to, the successes they’ve achieved.  However, the need for attention and praise has led to a dangerous point in our society where folks believe that they are able to claim titles without doing the required work.  In short: people are so eager to gain attention that they love to talk the talk but fail to walk the walk.
